This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
hey yall, thought i'd put some new stuff up here. photos from the quickly growing pile on my computer. since i discovered burst shooting i've been taking WAY too many and having to painstakingly choose the best out of up to 20 identical shots...
uhm..................i've a photaographick background.......so....what are DCT coeficients????????? dynamic.......color..tone????????it sounds kinda signal related....frequencyspace?
JPEG (and any of the "PEG" formats) work by grabbing 8x8 blocks of pixels and transforming them into an 8x8 matrix of coefficients called a Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT). the compression is achieved by either zeroing or storing the coefficients in lower precision.
basically it is frequency space... thing is grain is high frequencies that would normally be zeroed, meaning there's more space being used up, and less precision to go round in the lower frequencies.
thanks it is a bit geeky but it interests me, i am struggeliong throgh the image processing cookbook right now, and try to make sense of that
where i work we are planning to implement several packages that use fft filtering for image improvemenet on fingerprint analysis.
it works ? but now i nee to find out why it works
but it's fun
